A home cleaning robot that understands Turkish homes.

I'm building a cleaning robot designed for Turkish households. Its assistant runs on Claude, so you can talk to it in plain Turkish and it handles the planning.

Why Turkish homes?

Cleaning routines in Turkey are different. Homes have more rugs and a lot of hard floors, people take their shoes off at the door, kitchens get heavy daily use, and cleaning often follows a weekly rhythm. Today's robots ship with generic presets and English-first apps.

The goal: a robot whose software is built around how people here actually live and talk.

How Claude fits in

You give it a natural command. Claude turns it into a structured cleaning plan and calls the robot's actions through tool use.

“Akşam yemeğinden sonra mutfağı ve salonu süpür, halıya dikkat et.”
Plan for tonight, 21:30:
  1. schedule(time="21:30")
  2. clean(room="kitchen", mode="vacuum+mop")
  3. clean(room="living_room", mode="vacuum", rug="high_suction")
  4. notify(user, summary)

About

I'm Mert Sabuncu, based in Istanbul. I also run Danke Digital, a digital agency where we build AI-first workflows with Claude for small businesses. This robot project grows out of that work.
